I've only read the excerpt found at MSNBC, but kudos to a Draughting Theology friend for pointing me to The Year of Living Biblically: One Man's Humble Quest to Follow the Bible as Literally as Possible.
Steve: For the past couple of weeks when it comes down to the central point - it all seems to come back to faith - what is it - how do we find it - how do we enact it. This excerpt seems to be a beautiful example of going to find faith - this time to the Bible instead of the Temple. What a fascinating idea for those of us who tend to take the Bible a bit more on the figurative side. How do we manifest our faith in our lives? The answer does not seem easy.
